I completely agree. I don&#039;t believe the social aspects of books, or the broad context of use, have really been taken into consideration in the designs we&#039;ve seen to-date. I suspect we&#039;re seeing a &#039;first to market&#039; mentality winning over &#039;best to market&#039;.

		<description>I really like the idea of an ebook reader. But I also love the reality of books. Real, dusty, flip-through books. The thing is ... books tell others a lot about us. So whether we are collecting them, reading them or sharing/gifting them, they are an important way for us to define ourselves. And until this aspect is brought into the design process, I have a feeling that we are unlikely to see uptake of devices like the Kindle on a large scale.</description>
